Set of 4 Taittinger Champagne Flutes designed by Matta in 1998. Beautiful poppies design.
In 1983 Taittinger created the Taittinger Collection to promote his love of the arts. Some of the greatest names in contemporary art are represented in this collection. Each collection is limited and no longer available directly from Taittinger.
Matta was the artist for the 1998 vintage. For his bottle design, it represents “leading with poppies which represent a need for nostalgia, yet a spirit of continuation all the same.”
Glassware never used and in excellent condition. Original box in good condition, some scratches on the bottom.
