Daisy is one of my favorite wildflowers. They are small and the colors are just adorable. They bring calmness to my mind. I used a light lavender color and a tint of orange for the background to indicate the light of the spring. There are no bright primary colors in the painting. Instead, I mixed everything with white by doing so I created a state of mind of calmness, coziness, pleasantness, and warmth.
About the Artist: J. Zhao
Art has always been my passion since I can remember, though it took a long time and courage for me to call it a profession. I spent quite some time in school: earned my Ph.D. in education and worked briefly in academia, teaching and doing research.
My new job titles both as an artist and art teacher, however, began when I started homeschooling my kids during pandemic.
The painting is 12 in x 12 in.
