This vintage Ideal ST-15 N Shirley Temple plastic doll was issued by Montgomery Ward in 1972 and is a reissue of a 1950s doll. It comes with adorable sleepy eyes, a charming blue dress, a script Shirley Temple pin, socks and white shoes. Its nostalgic design captures the spirit of the beloved child star.
The Montgomery Ward Shirley doll was made in 1972 to celebrate Ward's 100th Anniversary. It was a replica of the 1950's 15 Shirley and is 15 tall. She is made of vinyl, with saran hair, and originally came with a flocked nylon dress. However, here, she is wearing the dress that originally came with the 17 doll. She is marked on the back of the head with Ideal Doll ST-15 N and on the upper back with Ideal Doll ST-15 . Please note the Ideal Doll marking on the upper back of the doll is not a deep impression and I can only see the LL above ST-15 in the pictures.
