VTG Mt. Pinatubo Ashglaze Pottery Tray Plate Volcano Ash Stoneware. In glaze colors of Yellow. NO Chips or Cracks of any kind. Marked on the base 'Mt. Pinatubo Ash Glaze.
About the piece:
On June 12th, 1991 Mt. Pinatubo erupted on Luzon, in the Philippines. 19 million tons of Ash were blasted into the atmosphere. The ash remained in the atmosphere for 3 Years. An enterprising Philippine Potter created a beautiful Ash-Glaze line of Hand-Thrown Dinnerware.
