Tom Petty's DEBUT SOLO album, FULL MOON FEVER was his best performance of an exceptional career with his infamous Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Like Bruce Springsteen's agreement with his E-Street Band, the Heartbreakers agreed to Tom;s solo production without them. Only the drummer, Stan Lynch objected, but the Heartbreakers contributed to this extraordinary album which had 5 of its tracks go to Billboard chart hits. The best of the best of Tom's career in fact was his great Free Fallin'. The award features a small replica of Free Fallin's 45 7 release record. Among other greats who were in the recording studio with Tom on this album were George Harrison and Roy Orbison. Unfortunately, Roy died just before its release in 1989.
The award is 3-D graphics on stunning gold mat board, lifted on black suede mat lifted off the platinum vinyl LP. The gold cassette features a session photo of Tom during the recording of the album.
