⭐️Item is a historical artifact with an impressive history, once belonging to Dr. Ellenetta Beachley Noble, born in 1914.
History| EBN became an ivy league educated doctor in 1937 at age 23. She faithfully dedicated 62 years of medical practice to her community until her retirement in 1998, age 85. EBN was an instrumental trailblazer who paved the way for women in medicine—most notably as the 1st female doctor in Pittsburgh and as valedictorian of her (ALL MALE) med school class @ PENN, where she bravely weathered the storm of gender discrimination until her male peers finally realized that she would, and COULD, hold her own.
