Noritake Nippon Toki Kaisha Serving Set - four pieces

These stunning china serving pieces were made between 1949-1950 in Occupied Japan pattern is Wrocklage 4706. My father purchased them in Tokyo in 1950 for his future wife, my mother.

Gold colored gilding was not spared....please look at the pictures which can describe the design better than trying to put it into words. Also, please look at photos for any condition concerns. Platter does have a chip on one of the long sides, minimal wear on other pieces. I imagine some fading has occurred in the colors. However , knowing my mother, I believe she hand washed them versus the dishwasher!. The finishes remain bright. Noritake china is famous for it delicate designs. The large platter is 16x12x1.5”. Creamer is 6x4x4”. Soup tureen is 11.5x8.5x3”. Vegetable bowl is 10.5x7.75x2.5”. These are beautiful pieces, but I don’t use them anymore. Would love to have someone use them! Or simply add to your beautiful collection. Simply lovely.
