Beautiful art glass covered dish/lidded trinket box in form of turtle/tortoise:
- Malachite glass (also called Jade), opaque green slag glass created to resemble marbling of its namesake mineral/gemstone
- Hand pressed Bohemian/Czech glass, from Art Deco mold by Curt Schlevogt designed in late 1920s-1930s & originally produced by Riedel under brand name “Ingrid”; production from Schlevogt molds continues today, but this piece is vintage (purchased from antique store in late 1950s)
- Approx 8.5” L x 5” W x 3” H
- No cracks, chips or repairs that I can see or feel; but please examine photos as item’s best representations to determine design, size, color & condition by your standards & ask any questions you may have prior to purchase
- Photos taken in natural & fluorescent light; images have no filters/color alterations
