Rare, high quality, museum display specimen of lustrous bladed rose calcite with iridescent pyrite on fluorite from Hubei China. This self standing, collector’s grade, fully natural, big display sized gem features shimmery, pale silver white calcite crystals clustered into sculptural rosette flower shapes. The “rose” or “flower” calcite is a newer and already coveted Chinese find. The bladed calcite crystalls are sprinkled with sparkling iridescence, golden metallic pyrite crystals. Th golden druze perfectly defines the floral shaped calcite. Making this specimen extra special is the matrix of mint green fluorite beneath the calcite with pyrite inclusions. Both the fluorite and calcite are UV fluorescent, glowing vivid neon pink (calcite) and blue (fluorite). A gorgeous, large cabinet sized statement piece measuring approx 15 by 7 by 5 cm and weighing almost 1 and a half pounds at 1 pound, 6.7 ounces.
