18K Yellow Gold Cabochon Cut Oval Prehnite and Diamond Ring Size 8 Solid Gold

Set securely in the center of this ring is a very large cabochon cut gemstone. It is a light minty green color, mostly translucent with visible veins and unique inclusions. I believe this to be a natural Prehnite gemstone. It is a large oval shape cabochon cut gem that measures 18 x 12mm. The gemstone is securely set with 14 U shape prongs which makes is 28 prongs set in a decorative scallop design. There is a full halo of tiny white diamonds set around the gemstone. The diamonds are set with rhodium tipped prongs which makes them look larger then they are. This ring measures 7/8 across the center and 11/16 from side to side. It has a classic high polished band that would be easy to size locally. Currently a finger size 8. The setting is solid yellow gold and is stamped 18K on the inside of the band. It is a very well made ring that weighs 5.6 grams. I have cleaned it in the ultrasound and cloth polished it. It is in very good preowned condition. A beautiful statement ring!
