This 6 x 4.5 antique Gospel Liturgy and Prayer Book comes from the personal library of a local minister. It was originally prepared under the direction of the General Convention of Universalists.
While it's been reprinted numerous times over the years, it's possible that this is a first edition, but I cannot say for sure.
There is some wear and the spine was reinforced at some point with a strip of clear book tape. The binding inside and pages are relatively tight with very light staining and foxing here and there. Fascinating to think that some of the country's founding fathers may have still been alive when this was printed.
A great historical reference for the church from 167 years ago!
