Vintage 1957 Olympus Wide-E Film 35mm Camera Zuiko-W Lens (Broken Leather Case) UNTESTED FOR PARTS/REPAIR. Unable to remove leather case. The object in the image is an Olympus Wide-E 35mm rangefinder film camera, produced by Olympus in 1957. Key features include: It has a rapid-advance lever and a built-in selenium meter.
The meter cell replaced the frosted window for the viewfinder bright frame. It features a fixed 28mm f/3.5 lens, suitable for landscape and street photography. The top shutter speed is 1/500 sec. It provides a compact, wide-angle experience, previously only achievable with interchangeable lens cameras. It uses 35mm film.
