Vintage octagonal porcelain tureen with lid by DeChang Taoci. Decorated in blue and white blue onion pattern. Chinese marking on bottom. Lid has decorative lion knob. Vintage 1960s.
Good condition. No damage/repair noted, a few very minor manufacturer's paint imperfections such as pinhole in finish on one side, pinhole on inside rim, and very small chip on inside area of lid. Unglazed rims are intentionally somewhat rough to the touch. No crazing, no utensil marks, no stains, clean, no odor.
Without lid, measures approximately 10” long handle to handle x 3” high x 6” wide at top. With lid, 10” wide x 6” high x 6.5” wide.
