Marvin R. Vincent (1834-1922) was an American Presbyterian clergyman and Bible scholar who taught New Testament Exegesis at Union Theological Seminary in NY from 1888. He published many books, the best known this four volume set of NT word studies first published in 1887 by Charles Scribner's. Vincent's Word Studies was a staple resource for Protestant sermon preparation for three generations and reprinted by Eerdmans' Press several times. This 1969 4th Printing is near new condition, clean covers without fraying on the boards, tight binding and unmarked pages throughout.
