Medusa Quartz, also known as Paraiba Quartz, because the small deposit was found in the Paraiba state of Brazil. That leads to the name Paraiba Quartz. This new type of included Quartz was discovered in August 2004 in Brazil(Paraiba). It is a rare but tough Quartz that is mesmerizing in jewelry but also just to have as a crystal. Don't underestimate this gem. It is truly one of the kind, just like the person who owns it. Would make a stunning pendant!!
