First edition, first printing trade paperback copy of Yoga Bhumika: Introduction to Yoga Volume One by Dr. K. L. Shankaranarayana Jois (self-published, 2004). A very rare book on the art and spiritual practice of yoga and meditation, limited to only 1000 copies of this, the first printing. Moderate wear to covers including puncture/scratch near fore edge of front cover and general shelf wear around the edges. Corners bumped and creased. Glossy laminate coating on back cover beginning to peel at top right corner. Some creases to spine. A few instances of split binding though all pages remain attached and binding remains fairly strong on the whole. Some highlighting of text, limited towards beginning of book. A few pages were improperly cut, causing some tears to top fore corner. Some mild blemishes to outer edge of many pages, seemingly from transferral of text’s ink. See photos for condition.
