I'm a huge fan of Moebius. Here's his unique take on Tony Stark/Iron Man. While few in number and mainly taking the form of covers or pin-ups, each image of American superheroes and comic book icons the master sends into our orbit is memorably beautiful.
Jean Giraud was a French artist, cartoonist and writer who worked in the Franco-Belgian bandes dessinées tradition. Giraud garnered worldwide acclaim predominantly under the pseudonym Moebius and, to a lesser extent Gir, which he used for the Blueberry series and his paintings. Moebius also contributed storyboards and concept designs to numerous science fiction and fantasy films, such as Alien, Tron, The Fifth Element, and The Abyss.
Moebius has a slightly weird, but tasteful, sense of proportion. In the prints, his drawing of arms is strangely prominent. Especially forearms.
Frame was brand new at time of pics. Unused. Frame materials are wood and glass, built to last. Ships boxed with packing peanuts.
