Traditional Nantucket Basket with Swing Handle
This 8 1/2 (edge to edge) round Nantucket basket woven in the traditional Nantucket style. There is a 4.4 inch base has a number of groves carved helping to show the inside of the basket. The handle is a carved swing design and attached to the basket with wooden ears. The basket is 6 inches deep. There are markings in the bottom of the basket. 4-94 with the number 12 under it. There is the letter H above the numbers surrounded by a triangle.
