Description:
The Forbes Co. Boston, MA. Supplement to the Boston Sunday Globe for March 29, 1896. Seven (7) different action scenes from the Battle of New Orleans to be cut-out and used with a theatre stage and platform, that would also have been a weekly supplement (theater stage not included - see photos for auction contents).
Each piece has instruction on placement on the stage. Measures 7 1/2 x 10 . Made of heavy stock paper.

About the 1815 Battle of New Orleans:
The Battle of New Orleans was fought on January 8, 1815 between the British Army under Major General Sir Edward Pakenham and the United States Army under Brevet Major General Andrew Jackson, roughly 5 miles southeast of the French Quarter of New Orleans, in the current suburb of Chalmette, Louisiana.
