The Tilden Company Oldest Pharmaceutical House In America This was their slogan up until the company was absorbed by larger companies in the mid 1960s. The company started in the 1840s in New Lebanon NY. The glass bottle is made by Duraglas . Duraglas started using the stippled bottoms in the mid 1940s. In the mid 1950s they stopped using the diamond logo so this dates the bottle to 1940s-1950s. The numbers on the bottom are 4, 5 & 10. The 5 would indicate the year so it can either be 1945 or 1955. The company realized this was confusing and later on started using a two digit number to indicate the year.
I am unable to make out the name of the medicine that was once inside of this bottle as some of the label is worn off but the last few letters are RILIN .
