Gorgeous vintage cardigan sweater from about the 1950s. Rich bright pink color with pearly buttons and long sleeves. A simple and lovely classic. Medium size, I'd say, and the label gives a size of 36 , but do see measurements below. Label reads: Ballantyne of Peebles. 100% pure cashmere. Made in Scotland
Good to great vintage condition. There are several unfortunate moth holes scattered all over the front. I did not spot any smudges or marks or other flaws so maybe a clever seamstress could darn most of these. . Priced accordingly and as is.
Measurements when lying flat and pulled taut. Doubled at bust and waist.
Armpit to armpit across bust: 41 up to 56
Waist across bottom hem: 31 up to 44
Shoulder to bottom hem: 22.5
