This set of vintage Communicator Walkie Talkies is in great condition. Both handsets have some light scratches over the plastic grilles, but the gold paint is still in excellent shape. All painted details on the inside are in near perfect condition and both battery compartments are clean. Both retractable antennas are unbent and still open and close as they should.
Both units work with standard 9V batteries, and all transmit buttons and power switches also work perfectly. The receiver for both units seems to be working well enough but you need to speak loudly or directly into the communicator - not sure if this was how they were when they were released, but might be due to age.
