Gorgeous Imperial Glass 1911-12 American Beauty Rose large 3 footed fruit bowl is in the stunning smoke (peacock) carnival glass. The intricate raised rose pattern is on the inside and outside. The bowl is not marked with the IG logo, which was introduced during the early 1960s, indicating this piece is from the early 1910s. Measuring 11 1/2 inches diameter and 4 1/2 inches high, this ruffled beauty is in excellent condition. On close inspection, I have not found any scratches, cracks, or chips. This piece is over 100 years old. Its carnival coloring is beautiful, but has some age related wear. What a fantastic piece to add to your collection! Amazing find!
