A few old stand by’s and a few new glazes on this piece. I’ve seen ginkgo’s done before as tile imagery and usually they are fairly simplistic. This one for me I wanted some drama and while I wasn’t sure how the colors would interact or play in the kiln these really pop. These have a beautiful tapestry feel to them, lots of granular silky patterns drift across the rich surfaces. These are special. Thanks for looking at my goods.
These are from a drawing I did that I converted to a plate from which I pound out a unique tile. I’m really happy with these .
These do vary slightly and you don’t get to pick, some are not perfectly flat but they will hang fine. Tiny imperfections vary from one to the next, it’s handmade.
