Vintage Mixed-Media Abstract Layered Paper on Painting, Original “Dancing Winds“

By layering craft papers that the artist has previously painted to fit into his painting, he carefully constructed an abstract that has a 3D dynamic quality to it. This entire Vintage Abstract Painting, to me, feels like it has motion to it. The circles seem to convey motion as well. Also, I see the abstract center element to be a nude female looking back at the artist. Maybe you see this as well?

That’s the fun thing about abstracts: they make you wonder what the artist had in mind when constructing them. The artist’s bold use of color which completely saturates this piece is notable. It adds to that dynamic quality this piece has. It is a strong piece and would easily steal the show if placed among other pieces. This artist, Gerald Huth, usually makes pieces that are very bold.

I’ve left glass off this piece because it may break easily even when packed well. You can inexpensively add this to fit atop the piece. This measures 23 x 18 framed.
