Zampiva Whimsical Ships Captain Figurine

Mr Lino Zampiva is the owner of Pastelceramica, that was established in Montebello Vicentino in 1976. Mr Lino Zambiva attended the local school of Arts and Crafts, where he learned how to make potter’s earth ductile and malleable.
His passion for painting and sculpture led him to make this fabulous collection of figurines now popular with collectors worldwide.
First of all our figurines are sketched on paper. After we would create them, usig a very soft Kaolin. Then there is the drying process. The figurine are now ready to be baked at temperature of 950°C. After this first baking we paint and varnish each item. Finally there is a second baking, always 950°C. The figurines that have been painted with gold 11% or pearl finish are baked a third time at 730°C.
Each subject is carefully studied as for its shape and color, and this makes our range very fanciful and of good taste.
