This is the only known Jade Sculpture of its kind available anywhere. We estimated its age to be between 200 to 225 years old. Hand carved in China between 1780 to 1820. It is an ancient artifact acquired in an auction for much more than the listing price.
This beautiful polished Jade relic is carved into the form of a crude water vase with a Mystical Dragon-Lizard image. It’s comprised of Moss & Rust Tone Jade with rare Beige & Black Jade marbling (Nephrite Stone Jade Variety).
Because of its antiquity, there is repaired damages from the 1940s era. A laminated stone was used along with some form of brownish green pigment. The repair was tested and is extremely strong (area is 3” long by 2.3” wide at top of spout).
Other than this slightly noticeable area, the sculpture is in very good condition. It weighs approx. 3.4 lbs., and measures 7.7” H x 5.8” W x 2.3” Depth.
This heirloom would retail for 800 in an antique shoppe. Highly discounted & No other copies available on earth.
