HERES ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL FLORIDA LEFT HANDED LIGHTNING WHELK FROM MY COLLECTION- THIS ONE IS VERY UNIQUE & SPECIAL TO ME! Her name is MENDY bc she is a “mutant”‘of sorts, she has a very unique deep “mend” in her body which happens to most shells, they will mend areas that are broken or damaged by other shells or other things. They regrow - what makes hers so unique is the depth of her mend, I don’t know if it’s 100% a mend or some other mysterious mutation- I’ve never seen one exactly like this before. That coupled w here big long beautiful wavy frame makes her extra special Shes also retained some of her beautiful coloring!
