Two foo dog guardians grace this black carved stone brush holder and washer, and in the pond created for washing brushes, an inscribed koi fish swims among reeds. Fern like leaves peek out from under the foo dogs. The carved brush washer and holder measures approximately 6 inches wide, 4 inches deep and 2 1/4 inches high. I believe it to be Qing Dynasty, circa 1910.
