LARGE CHINESE BLANC DE CHINE RETICULATED PORCELAIN GINGER JAR a Large, Chinese, Fully Reticulated, Porcelain Ginger Jar with a Blanc De Chine Glaze that was made in China most likely during the 1950’s or 1960’s. It has “WAI MING/HONG KONG“ printed in raised Letters on the Bottom of its Base. At first, we believed it was made in Hong Kong, but our research revealed that Wai Ming was an Importer/Exporter located in Hong Kong during the mid-20th Century who specialized in 20th Century Blanc De Chine Glazed Porcelain Figurines and Reticulated Porcelain Vases and Ginger Jars. The Ginger Jar stands about 14 inches high and measures 10 ½ inches in diameter, and its Fully Reticulated Pattern is that of a Blossoming Plum Tree on the Front and Reverse Side while the rest of the Reticulated Surface is a Meticulously Carved Pattern.
